Stores looking for a way to raise the bar in their cookie section have a sweet new option with Betty Crocker Sweet Rewards bars. The latest product innovation from General Mills Convenience, the Betty Crocker Sweet Rewards bars are the first ready-to-eat treat from Betty Crocker. The bars, with a suggested retail price of $1.39, come in two flavors: Turtle, with cookie, caramel, chocolate and nuts; and 7-Layer, with graham cracker, chocolate, caramel, nuts and coconut. Both convenient and indulgent, the bars are the perfect no-mess snack for people on the go. In a taste test, 63% or more of respondents said they would definitely buy these new products, according to General Mills Test, April 2010, among c-store purchasers of sweet products. In a separate brand study, 97% of customers reported familiarity with the Betty Crocker brand and 82% would “likely” or “certainly” buy Betty Crocker products, according to General Mills Brand Power Study.
