Altoona, Pa.-based Sheetz opened it’s third store in Greensboro, N.C. as well as its first store in the community of Berwick, Pa., yesterday.
The 5,000 square foot store in Greensboro opened at 1001 Gardner Hill Drive, and celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony in the afternoon. As part of the celebration, the company made a donation to The Ragsdale Family YMCA.
“We are lucky to have such wonderful customers in North Carolina,” said Stan Sheetz, president and CEO, Sheetz, Inc. “These communities have been so welcoming to us over the past couple years. We are excited to continue growth in this area.”
Sheetz also introduced itself to a new community as it opened a 5,000 square foot store at 2100 west Front Street in Berwick, Pa.
“We have had a good relationship with our customers in nearby Bloomsburg and Danville, so we hope that we are able to provide the people of Berwick and the surrounding areas with the same top notch products and services,” Sheetz said.
Sheetz celebrated with an afternoon ribbon cutting ceremony and by making a donation to The Berwick Area Little League.
Sheetz has a tradition of giving back to the communities in which it operates. Especially important to the organization is finding ways to be involved with today’s young people.
