Atlas Oil Launches Generator Fuel Program

Atlas Oil Company has introduced its new Generator Assurance Plan, which guarantees customers priority access to fuel and delivery during power outages.

With this new program, diesel generator users can make sure they have a secure and available supply of diesel fuel to keep back up generators running, in any situation.

During power outages, demand for diesel generator fuel spikes while access to supply shrinks because fueling terminals require electric power to actually pump fuel.

To combat this problem, Atlas has emergency generators power its fueling locations and stores large quantities of fuel at its SE Michigan locations. In addition, the company operates around the clock and has access to dozens of trucks and drivers. Confident in its access to fuel, Atlas is offering Generator Assurance Plan subscribers a money back guarantee.

“We know how much businesses worry about being able to operate and to serve their customers during outages,” said Bob Kenyon, vice president of sales and operations at Atlas Oil. “With the Generator Assurance Plan, our goal is to give customers the confidence and peace of mind that comes from knowing that they’ll be available to serve their customers. And we’re so confident in our ability to provide fuel in emergency situations, that we’re willing to back it up with a money-back guarantee.”

The Generator Assurance Plan operates as a subscription service whereby customers can customize the amount of fuel allocated per power outage and the number of service days required. Scheduled sampling and testing of fuel in generator storage tanks is included as a value-added service in the Plan. This testing helps ensure fuel quality as diesel fuel in long term storage can sometimes foul a generator’s fuel system if not properly maintained, causing operational failures.

With operations 24/7/365, Atlas Oil Company, headquartered in Taylor, Mich., meets the fuel and service needs of businesses, municipalities and governments in 20 states and Ontario, Canada. Atlas Oil also meets the retail fuel needs of nearly 400 gasoline service stations throughout Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.
