Ask the Experts

I suppose books or advice. Our biggest issue currently is drawer control. We have a small convenience store/deli with approximately 6 employees during our busiest time. I am looking for advice on how to best manage the drawer because so many are using it. We have begun starting at a set amount and counting at the end of the day but it seems to be difficult. I am thinking of programming more keys and wondering if this would help..for instance, specific instant lottery keys ($2, $5...) - this is also an issue as I think this is what is disappearing.
So any advice or help or suggestions...we would appreciate.

The Uberclerk wants to know what you mean by "resources" in this query. Do you mean text books, or advice, or products, or something completely different?
And what facet of cash management is troubling you? Are you talking about drawer control, or change fund amount, or shift-to-shift reconciliation, or (again)do you mean something completely different?
The Uberclerk is working on a particularly vexing cash management issue herself and has given the matter much thought and copious research that she would be happy to share with you.

I am looking for any resources on cash management in convenience stores.
