National Convenience Store Advisory Group Scholarship Fund
 

THE PROGRAM

The program will be called the National Convenience Store Advisory Group Scholarship Fund.

The sponsor is National Convenience Store Advisory Group.

ELIGIBILITIES

Applicants must be employees or children of Convenience Stores/Petroleum Marketers' employees in the retail channel whose company has been a member of National Convenience Store Advisory Group (NCSAG) for a minimum of one year as of the application deadline date.

Applicants must be employees or children of employees who have a minimum of one year employment with the company as of the application deadline date.

Applicants must plan to enroll in a full-time or part-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school. Applicants who are current students or who have attended school within the past three years must have maintained a minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

AWARDS

The program will utilize standard Scholarship America recipient selection procedures including the consideration of past academic performance and future potential, leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, statement of career and educational aspirations and goals, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an outside appraisal.

The authorized distribution for new awards is $5,000. Five awards of $1,000 will be granted.

Financial need will not be considered.

Awards are not renewable; however, students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.

Awards are for undergraduate study only.
