Shell Oil Company and Motiva Enterprises LLC are donating $100,000 to the American Red Cross to aid in disaster relief and recovery efforts in Haiti.

"This is a trying time for Haiti and a chance for the rest of the world to lend a hand to those in need," said Marvin Odum, president of Shell Oil Company. "Shell has a long track record of supporting disaster relief efforts. The people of Haiti are in our thoughts and prayers."

Shell Oil Products US, a subsidiary of Shell Oil Company, is a leader in the refining, transportation and marketing of fuels, and has a network of approximately 6,100 branded gasoline stations in the western U.S.
