The Montgomery, Ala.-based company manufactures and distributes traditional prepaid phone cards and sweepstakes phone cards in addition to creating and implementing custom sweepstakes promotions for companies. A major focus of the company is to help convenience stores increase their in-store sales and profit margins through the sale of Pre-Paid Promotions products, which have a very high return on investment rate. Though an effective profit-maker in and of itself, the cards also act as promotional tools for long-distance cards priced at higher increments. The cards are currently carried by multiple c-store chains, including Kwik Shop Inc., a 13-store chain based in Millbrook, Ala., which completed a changeover to Pre-Paid Promotions’ cards in July.
