VERC, Exxon Aid Education

A $500 grant to Plymouth’s Cold Spring Elementary School to be used for academic or sports programs.

VERC Enterprises, an independent convenience store and gasoline station operator in New England, presented the Cold Spring Elementary School in Plymouth with a check for $500, a grant made possible through the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance Program.

The $500 grant can be used for a broad range of academic enhancement or sports programs.

Since 2000, the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance Program has contributed roughly $13 million to local schools through its Exxon and Mobil retailers.

"We're proud to participate in such a fine program that recognizes and supports the quality of local schools," said Leo Vercollone, CEO of VERC Enterprises.
