Grand opening kicks off with donation to local school.
Sheetz Inc. is opening its new location in Sarver, Pa. The newest addition to the 339-store chain is the first in Sarver. The store will host a community grand opening celebration on Oct. 18 with a ribbon cutting
ceremony.
As part of the Oct. 18 festivities, Sheetz is making a donation to Freeport Senior High School, which sits right next to the new convenience store. The money donated will go into a scholarship fund for graduating high school students.
"It's exciting for us at Sheetz any time we are able to bring our latest concepts in convenience to a new area," said Louie Sheetz, executive vice president, marketing, Sheetz Inc. "We are looking forward to being a part of the Sarver community and we're glad to be a neighbor to the Freeport High School. We want to support the students in as many ways as we can."
