Bruce Carl Bott has been appointed president of ADD Systems.
“For several years now, I have been gradually shifting responsibilities to Bruce Jr. and others in anticipation of this change,” said ADD Systems CEO / Owner Bruce Alan Bott. “So while a change in presidency is significant and momentous, we fully expect a smooth transition. Bruce has worked in this company since he was 14 years old and has proved that he is worthy of this position.”
ADD Systems is a provider of software for the petroleum, propane, gasoline, convenience store industries. The organization provides over 38 years of industry experience, 170 employees, and 600+ customers across the U.S. and Canada supported from offices in Flanders N.J., Orlando, Montréal Quebec, Canada and Cranston R.I.
Bruce Carl Bott joined ADD Systems in 1981 where as a teenager he handled backing up internal systems and on-line systems for the on-line service bureau in the evenings. In 1986, Bott took a position in the operations department where he maintained a data processing facility and worked on the installation, configuration and hardware support of more than 200 clients. After five years, he began working within the sales department as a regional sales representative for the metropolitan New York, New Jersey and Connecticut sales territory. In November 2000, he was promoted to national sales manager and, shortly thereafter, Bott assumed the vice president role for all sales activities. In February 2004, Bott was promoted to the position of vice president sales and marketing, where his duties were further extended to include that of the marketing vice president.
