Vercollone Named President of NECSA

VERC“It is an honor and privilege to serve as president of an organization that is so vital to our industry,” says Vercollone.

Leo Vercollone, president of VERC Enterprises, a convenience store and Mobil/Gulf gasoline operator with locations throughout Eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire has been named president of the New England Convenience Store Association (NECSA).

As such, Vercollone will lead NECSA, which represents and protects the interests of retailers and suppliers in the convenience store and petroleum industry in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.

Vercollone, a resident of Duxbury, Mass., holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston College. He has served on numerous industry, civic and community organizations, including as a member of the Board of Directors of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce, on the Dealer Advisory Council for both Mobil and Gulf and as a member of the Board of Directors of NACS (The Association for Convenience and Fuel Retailing). He also sits on the Finance Council for Holy Family Catholic Church and is a member of the Board of Directors of Trinity Catholic Academy in Brockton, Massachusetts. A long-time member of NECSA, Vercollone served as its vice president prior to being named president.
