Customers who opted-out of settlement head to mediation with the truck-stop chain.
A U.S. District Court judge has ordered Pilot Flying J and a number of plaintiffs into mediation to resolve allegations that the truck-stop chain fraudulently withheld fuel rebates and discounts from customers, the Nashville Business Journal reported.
Pilot has already agreed to pay a $92 million fine to avoid criminal charges and settled a class-action civil lawsuit for $85 million. This mediation is being ordered to resolve additional claims from a small number of plaintiffs who opted out of the settlement.
