2014 brand meeting and trade show to rally in support of Gulf Oil Giving Foundation’s work with the American Cancer Society.
Gulf Oil LP announced as part of its 2014 Brand Meeting and Trade Show that Gulf dealers and partners from across the nation will join together to raise much-needed funding for breast cancer research and awareness.
The Gulf Brand Meeting and Tradeshow, being held in Las Vegas from May 19 to 22, will celebrate Gulf’s 100 years of service and include a wide array of business networking and social events for attendees.
December 2013 marked the 100th anniversary of the first drive-in service station, which was opened by Gulf in 1913.
This important industry milestone underscores the company’s continuous efforts to provide Gulf customers, dealers and operators with innovative services that make a difference in people’s lives. As part of this commitment to service, the Gulf Oil Giving Foundation, which actively supports the American Cancer Society’s fight to end breast cancer, will hold two exciting events that are open to the public during its bi-annual gathering of dealers and partners.
“We are looking forward to our 2014 Brand Meeting and Trade Show with great anticipation. Not only will we be celebrating our rich heritage and 100 years of service with hundreds of dealers and partners representing thousands of our branded locations, we’ll also be making a difference,” said Rick Dery, senior vice president and chief sales and marketing officer for Gulf. “More than one million customers pass through a facility supplied or branded by Gulf every day. Our work in support of the fight to end breast cancer is an important way we can all give back to them, and help make their lives and their families’ lives better.”
The Swing for Hope Invitational—The Gulf Oil Giving Foundation, in national partnership with The American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, is hosting a charitable golf tournament on Monday, May 19 at the elite TPC Summerlin championship golf course in Las Vegas—the site of Tiger Woods’ first professional victory.
Golfers will enjoy a full day of activities, including memorable experiences at every hole along the course, a cocktail reception, awards ceremony, silent auction and more. All proceeds will benefit the cause by funding research, and those affected by breast cancer.
Catwalk for a Cause Fashion Show—As part of the 100 Years Gala Celebration and Dinner on Wednesday, May 21 the Gulf Oil Giving Foundation will present a charitable fashion show featuring top new styles and trends—all with a twist of pink to benefit breast cancer research and awareness. The Gala Celebration begins at 6 p.m. with a cocktail reception, followed by dinner, a fun program recognizing key industry milestones, and the fashion show.
The Gulf Oil Giving Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt organization, which supports Breast Cancer research and awareness programs.
