United Supermarkets LLC opened the doors to its 19th freestanding convenience store, a United Express location in Dumas, Texas.
The 2,400 square-foot store is the company’s seventh freestanding convenience store and second in the Texas Panhandle area. Four stores are under the United Express banner and three are still under the Taste of Market Street name, all of which will be converted to United Express in the coming months.
The new location features a drive-thru window offering specialty coffee and tea service using the company’s own popular Arriba brand. A full line of made-to-order coffees and tea – including lattés, smoothies and frappes – is available both inside the store and via the drive-through.
“Whether it’s grabbing a hot latté in the morning, or a bag of ice and gallon of milk on the way home, our Dumas guests are truly going to enjoy the drive-through experience,” said Tandy Arrant, convenience business manager for United Supermarkets, LLC.
The convenience store also includes a 10 fueling stations offering both gasoline and diesel. In addition to traditional convenience items (fountain drinks, grab-and-go packaged food, propane tank refills, etc.), it also offers a wide assortment of “fresh to-go” items made inside the main store – including breakfast burritos and hot sandwiches, along with fresh fruit, f’Real milkshakes and other frozen beverages.
