Kum & Go lets customers suggest game ideas for the chain to host during the summer season.
Kum & Go customers are getting playful this summer as they submit game ideas in the c-store chain’s latest “Thirst For Victory” contest.
Catherine Huggins, spokeswoman for Kum & Go, told CSD that the contest allows customers to propose summer game ideas on the c-store’s Website. She said it’s an outlet for customers to have lots of fun and show individuality.
“Everyone has been extra creative when it comes to inventing or submitting their summer game concepts,” Huggins said. “What we’ve noticed is that many games involve being outdoors. There’s a few games focused on competing with food.”
Submitted games will be ranked by the Kum & Go Panel based on the top number of public votes and seven winning categories which are as follows: Absurd is the Word, Crazy is a State of Mine, Dealer of Double Takes, Jesters and Jokers, Titans of Talent, Impossibly Impressive and People’s Choice.
A handful of the winning games will be featured at five Kum & Go markets.
“We’ll be inviting people to visit Kum & Go host stores on particular weekends to be eligible for prizes and participate in specific organized summer games,” Huggins said.
“Thirst For Victory” will run from now through Aug. 31. The company has already received hundreds of submissions. Huggins said the seven winners receive free Kum & Go fountain drinks for a year.
Huggins said this contest is similar to its previous competitive contests.“Kum & Go is always looking for ways to provide energy to our on-the-go customers,” she said.
Only residents in Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Wyoming are permitted to enter Kum & Go’s summer contest.
