A 24-hour NOCO Express store celebrates its grand opening in Macedon, making it the 33rd store for the company.
NOCO Express, a gasoline convenience store chain headquartered in Tonawanda, N.Y., celebrated the grand opening of its new store in Macedon at 1241 State Route 31.
The company acquired the lease for the Macedon store from Prime Convenience in March. The store opened under the NOCO Express name Thursday after a complete in-store remodel to serve local customers better.
“We are excited to officially mark our entrance into Wayne County and Rochester’s eastern suburbs by launching NOCO Express in Macedon,” said Michael Newman, NOCO executive vice president. “Our newest NOCO Express store follows the same model as all of our stores in that it’s designed to provide a variety of conveniences and motorist essentials for today’s on-the-go customers.”
The remodel of the 3,333-square-foot store, which took two weeks to complete, features updated store layout, a new walk-in beer cave and more merchandising space. The outside features low-watt LED lighting on the signage and fuel canopy to reduce energy consumption.
The Macedon store is scheduled to be open 24 hours a day, and employs nine people.
NOCO Express currently operates a total of 33 stores, including two in the Rochester, N.Y., region. The company also offers natural gas and energy services to commercial and residential customers throughout Rochester and its suburbs.
