A bigger grocery section and conveyor belts at the checkout are just some of the features the new location provides.
Nice N Easy Grocery Shoppes debuted its newest and largest prototype location in Brewerton, N.Y., this week, Syracuse.com reported.
The new 6,700-square-foot store at 5565 Bartell Road comes as local residents, who were without a grocery store for years, are asking for more groceries. Nice N Easy is happy to oblige, adding more than 1,000 additional product lines, including fresh meats, produce, frozen food and seafood, to its grocery aisles.
In addition to pleasing local customers, the shop also expects to benefit from tourism, as the location is situated on the edge of Oneida Lake and the gateway to the North Country.
Store features include a beer cave featuring craft and microbrews, a large seating area with free Wi-Fi and checkout counters with conveyor system like one would find in a supermarket. Its signature Easy Street Eatery is ready to satisfy customers with ready-to-eat meals conceived by the company’s new lineup of chefs. The forecourt features 10 fueling positions for cars. Diesel will be added later.
Nice N Easy faces new competition from 7-Eleven, which is entering the Syracuse market following its April acquisition of the Wilson Farms convenience store chain.
