Convenience Store Chains Celebrate CofFREE Day

Some c-stores are offering free hot dispensed beverages and other coffee deals on National Coffee Day.

Thorntons, Kangaroo Express and 7-Eleven are among the c-store chains participating in National Coffee Day, today, Sept. 29.  

To celebrate CofFREE Day, Thorntons is offering  a free coffee, cappuccino, or hot chocolate to every customer who visits a Thorntons store locations on Thursday, Sept. 29  from 6 a.m.- 2 p.m.

Thorntons signature coffee blend is made from 100% Arabica beans to guarantee a smooth, flavorful taste in every cup. In addition to its premium coffee, Thorntons cappuccino and hot chocolate are included in this offer. Customers are encouraged to Makeurmix with a variety of creamers and sweeteners, plus fresh whipped cream.

“This is a great opportunity for everyone to enjoy a delicious hot beverage and for Thorntons to honor National Coffee Day,” said  Matt Thornton, president and CEO of Thorntons, which has stores in Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Tennessee and Ohio.

Savings All Season Long
Kagaroo Express is offering guests a way to save on its Bean Street Coffee throughout the fall and winter seasons this CofFREE Day. Reusable Bean Street Coffee mugs, or “Roo Mugs,” are now available at all Kangaroo Express convenience store locations for only $1.59.

The first coffee fill up is free with the Roo Mug purchase, and all subsequent refills are only 99 cents  through Dec. 31, 2011.
 
To take full advantage of the Roo Mug, guests are invited to join the Roo Club by texting “ROOCLUB” to “67777,” which will grant them access to exclusive text message deals, including 49 cent Coffee Wednesdays and Free Coffee Fridays.
 
Guests can purchase a Roo Mug starting today, Sept. 29 in honor of National Coffee Day at any Kangaroo Express convenience store for $1.59. Pairing the Roo Coffee Mug with the Roo Club rewards Kangaroo Express fans with special deals on Bean Street Coffee and other breakfast items.
