Seven new locations boosts total 2011 store openings to 159.
Lafayette, La.-based Krispy Krunchy Foods, a provider of quick-serve restaurant (QSR) concepts with more than 700 retail locations in 23 states, opened seven more stores the last week of June, bringing its total to 159 openings for the year.
Some 94 locations were opened in the second quarter of 2011 compared with 65 openings first quarter of 2011.
“We are delighted at the growth we are experiencing this year. We think it’s a validation of the quality of the brand and the great support our customers get from our company,” said Executive Vice President Dan Shapiro.
