Made-to-order pizza program is expected to increase customer appeal for Farmland, Ind., convenience store.
Village Pantry is welcoming Hunt Brothers Pizza to its Farmland, Ind., store at 100 East Jackson Street.
The store is open 24/7 and marks the eighth Indiana Village Pantry location to add the made-to-order pizza offering.
Hunt Brothers Pizza demonstrated strong sales and growth in Village Pantry’s other Midwest store locations, and as a result the additional store was a natural growth opportunity for the convenience store group.
“We have grown with Hunt Brothers in more than 15 of our locations, as the pizza has performed very well and shown strong customer appeal,” said Chad Prast, spokesperson for Village Pantry. “The Hunt Brothers organization is great at developing programs to help drive customer traffic, and we’re pushing for the Farmland location to be one of Village Pantry’s best performers yet.”
VPS Convenience Store Group, an affiliate of Sun Capital Partners Inc., is the parent company of Village Pantry, which operates more than 400 stores throughout the Southeast and Midwest, and continues to offer Hunt Brothers Pizza at various store groups.
Hunt Brothers Pizza has more than 6,000 locations in 28 states.
