Beckley, W.Va.-based Little General is expanding its operations in southern West Virginia with the purchase of five Burger King operations and the opening of its 75th convenience store, wdbj7.com reported.
Little General’s acquisition of Burger King operations in Beckley, Oak Hill, Princeton, Bluefield and Bluefield, Va., were effective as of Nov. 1. With this addition, the company now operates more than 50 restaurants, including Burger King, Godfathers Pizza and Subway. Its 75th convenience store opened last month in Bradshaw.
The company reportedly has plans to open stores in Pineville and Elkins in 2011.
