Clark Brands Rolls Out Gift Card Program

Clark Brands is rolling out a Gift Card Program designed specifically for small retailers. The Gift Card Program, powered by RBS WorldPay, is the product of collaboration between RBS WorldPay, who handles administration, and Clark, who is endorsing and promoting the program to its customers.

 

The Gift Card Program has pricing, features and benefits only available to Clark branded and credit card customers. The program was designed as a tool to help small retailers differentiate themselves from the competition with a Gift Card that is sold and redeemed at their store.  

 

For most sites, the card can be used on the store’s existing POS device.  And Gift Cards can be used at the CRIND at stores that process with a Verifone Ruby Point of Sale (POS) system.

 

Over the past year, the Gift Card Program was tested at a number of Clark locations with outstanding results. Pamela Brand, a Clark dealer in Rushford, Minn. said that “the prepaid gift card program has increased my sales and improved my business overall. My customers are pleased to know they can pay at the pump with it and my employees like it because it is easy to activate and to swipe when a purchase is made. It’s a great tool to increase customer loyalty and grow my business.”

 

The program is being rolled out over the course of the summer to Clark’s branded and credit card customers throughout its 28 state market area as a tool to help them enhance their business, build loyalty and attract and retain new customers.

 

The program was also designed to be simple to sell and easy to administer. Stores that sign up for the Gift Card Program will receive everything necessary to get started promoting the program–marketing materials, training materials, frequently asked questions and quick reference guides. They will have access to online reporting and a 24/7 help desk. Their customers can check card balances 24/7 on the web or by phone.
