bp spreads ampms reach

Chain continues growing its franchised brand.

BP has unveiled plans to spread its ampm franchise from the West to the East, establishing its brand in new markets throughout the country.

According to the plan, stores could be popping up in Atlanta and Chicago as early as November. The chain’s BP Connnect and Wild Bean Caf brands situated in the Midwest, Northeast and Southeast will be rebranded.

Along with the rebranding, the chain will introduce the stores with a “snack-food theme park,” featuring a variety of hot and cold food and beverage stations, which serves nearly 300,000 customers daily, according to the company statement. A variety of prepared foods will also be served, such as hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, corn dogs and chicken sandwiches. Bakery goods will also be available on the converted stores.

Currently, there are nearly 1,000 ampm sites across California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon and Washington, as well as 500 stores in Brazil, 50 in Mexico and more than 1,200 in Japan.
