- Stop'n Go of Medina (Medina, OH) has named Rich Frank as itsnew general manager. Frank had been with Stop'n Go as a consultant and projectmanager for two years and was instrumental in the implementation of a numberof projects, including a prototype Stop'n Go store that opened in late April.
- R.J. Reynolds Tobacco has named Mike DiCio its director oftrade relations, replacing Tom Trader, who retired from his position on July31, 2005. DiCio comes into his new responsibilities with excellent credentialsandprior experience in running top quality customer events at both Brown &Williamson and BAT Japan. Reporting to DiCio will be Tim Walsh, managerof trade relations; Brenda Carter, assistant manager of trade relations;and Linda Speaks and Anne-Marie Ohnimus, coordinators.
- The National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) has promotedBrendan Moyer

- Anheuser-Busch Inc. has promoted 18-year veteran Mamie Haynesfrom manager of trade communications to director of retail sales developmentand trade communications. Also, the company has appointed Robert C. Lachky,most recently vice president of brand management and director of global creative,to the newly created position of executive vice president, global industry development.Assuming Lachky's prior position is Marlene V. Coulis, who has servedthe company for 13 years. Prior to moving into her current position, Coulishas held prior positions in geographic marketing, new product/brand developmentand marketing research.
- Snack food manufacturer Lance Inc. has announced the resignation ofVice President, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary B. Clyde Preslar,who joined Lance as vice president and CFO in 1996. In the interim, DavidV. Singer, president and CEO, will assume Preslar's responsibilities asCFO.
- KSS, which supplies "intelligent pricing solutions" for the convenience storeand retail petroleum industries, has added retail industry veterans ScottStein and Lyle Walker to its management team. Stein joins KSS asvice president of professional services-with nearly 25 years of experience inIT infrastructures, including nine years as chief information/technology officerfor Dairy Mart Convenience Stores. Walker, bringing to KSS 25-plus years ofretail operations and merchandising experience, including 13 years with KrogerFood Stores, joins the company as vice president of global marketing. Most recently,Walker served Retalix Ltd. as director of marketing.
- Biometric transaction processing innovator BioPay has named MichaelKilcoyne a Coloradobased authorized agent. Kilcoyne brings four years ofexperience selling to the convenience retailing industry, most recently servingDataworks/The Manager's Redbook as business development director. - Executive Leadership Solutions has added retail veteran StevenHostetter as senior executive recruiter. Hostetter previously served DBCos. Inc. of Rhode Island and Kangaroo Inc. of Georgia as executive vice presidentand chief operating officer, respectively. He began his career as a store managerfor Sheetz Inc., and eventually worked his way up the ladder to director ofoperations. After leaving Sheetz, he opened his own chain of 12 conveniencestores under Hostetter Oil. After selling that venture, he joined Circle K asa division president.
